Our medical practice provides more than quality health and wellbeing care; we do so in a culturally sensitive and safe manner and environment. We do this because we understand the deep, personal need our Members and community have to not only get better but to also be able to feel better while doing it.
This is a fundamental need for our Members because for them, there is a real feeling of disparity of power when they enter a white space and the sense that they are being dictated to in what they should do about their health. Doctors are in the position of knowledge and authority, so it’s important they share their knowledge with their patients in a manner that enables the patient to decide what the best plan or goal for their health should be.
